'Shaman' from the Siberian Tunguz word 'saman' meaning 'one who knows'. It is my personal goal to heal from a lifetime of psychological, emotional, and spiritual 'immaturity' ['Psychedelic Healing' by Neal M. Goldsmith] and become an authentic, sovereign, and loving being, free from angst. To this end I am studying and practicing Shamanic Healing.

I experience a barrage of thoughts whenever I think about the next shamanic event - what a wonderful opportunity to experience a safe ceremonial space for the purpose of healing and connecting with spirit! Together we journey into non-ordinary reality where we will counsel our ally spirit animal and teacher spirit, in human form. The information you receive by doing so may surprise you 🙂

YOUR PERSONAL CEREMONIAL SPACE -
Find a quiet location in your home where you will not be interrupted for the duration of the event and prepare this space as would be appropriate for a spiritual ceremony -
o create an altar using a cloth and add some sacred objects like a candle, incense, rattle, etc.
o prepare your personal space for comfort (sitting and lying down)
o Turn off notifications from your device(s)
Please have some water handy - shamanic healing is hard work!
The quality of audio is very important to your success in this regard. As I will be present only via computer, I can recommend that you use good quality earbuds, a head set, or speaker(s) connected to your computer.
FLOW -
After a quick introduction from everyone, (virtual) smudging and prayers to teachers and spirit will be offered [the Sacred Pipe Ceremony] After some breathing, meditation, and somatic exercise you will be guided on your first spirit journey.
Icaros from the Amazon, mantras from the East, and First Nations spiritual drumming and chanting will be offered. In addition, various acoustic instruments will be used to create a sound bath.
SPIRIT PLANT MEDICINE -
I like to use Cacao and/or cannabis to help me facilitate this ceremony on your behalf. These Sacred Plant Medicines help clear my mind of thoughts and focus on the task on hand.
The use of cannabis is optional. Time will be allotted for us to take your medicine.

It is my sincere hope that this Ceremony will help you on your Healing and Spiritual path by providing a direct connection to Spirit and Nature.
A little about the facilitator -
Gray Bird walks the Medicine Path and has provided many years of ceremonial service. Among his teachers are - Grand Master Simon (White Tiger) , Don Luchio (Tamshiyacu, Peru), Angela Prider (White Bone Shamanism) , Blackfoot Elder Robert, this tribal land I walk, Ram Dass, and the spirits of nature. Gray Bird attended a 3 year shamanic apprenticeship, travelled several times to Peru, and practiced Kung Fu for many years. He was given his medicine name at a Huachuma ceremony in Cusco.
