I write this message simply from my experience and my sense of gratitude to each that held space, including our host Feliz: whom I humbly refer to as my Spiritual advisor and our amazing sitters, providing holding, compassion & love as I journeyed deeply. I come from a background of immense childhood trauma. Through my heart and soul centered work over the years, it has brought elements of healing to a wounded part of me that wished solely to be loved. What I experienced the first time I engaged with mother, is HOME, is a knowing deep within I was evolving, I was healing. Not in the conceptual way one describes that word, but rather a deep connection with Mother and Creator that permitted me to take necessary dives when called into my woundedness. Under the woundedness was me, my essential self, this unchanged being that was born in light, born in love. Now a month post Ceremony and integration, again I can communicate this absolute reverence and trust in the process. It is not without its challenges, nor the pain, but how might I hold that energy, that pain when it expresses. I will hold it as mother does: compassionately, lovingly, wisely, the ever knowing and trust of the moving and resolving of such energy. In deep gratitude. Dawn
