A Description of your Peruvian Amazon Excursion -
The flight from Vancouver to Lima, Peru will take 14 - 20 hours with one stop. In Lima we will board a local flight to Iquitos where you will be picked up by taxi and escorted to the hotel. While in Iquitos, you will experience a tour of the Iquitos, Belen Market, and the Floating City.
Your Accommodation
From Iquitos we will travel by road and river to a beautiful Lodge located deep in the jungle - peaceful paradise, surrounded by the pristine beauty of the Amazon. Here you will stay in private bungalows complete with bathrooms and balcony with a hammock, fans, lighting, and 24-hour electricity. Clean towels, purified water, soap and shampoo are provided daily, and all cleaning products are biodegradable. Built with local jungle materials, the bungalows offer an authentic Amazon Rainforest experience.

Your Jungle Tours
The lodge's team is ready to make your Amazon adventure seamless and unforgettable. Your stay in the jungle will be safe, comfortable, and full of unforgettable experiences. The private bilingual guides, all natives of the region, are experts in the jungle. They bring you closer to the Amazon’s wonders and are skilled in survival and camping techniques, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the jungle while feeling safe and confident.
You will be expertly escorted on 2-3 jungle/river tours per day. And, in the evenings, we will partake in Ayahuasca ceremonies which will be hosted by an indigenous shaman/Healer who has travelled for 6 hours by boat just to offer these very special medicine ceremonies for you. The day after a ceremony you will be invited to have a private integration session with the healer.

At the end of your jungle tour we will travel back to Iquitos and catch a local flight to Lima. Here you will catch your international flight back home. Your flight home can take up to 20 hours and will have one stop.
** NB. Please be mindful of your purchases while in Peru. We may stop over in Mexico where your bags will likely be checked by the authorities. You may have to explain what that powder, liquid, and/or dried plant materials are.
