On this all inclusive* Trip of a Lifetime you will experience the very finest of all that Peru has to offer; from the Amazon Jungle Tour, to Cusco and the Sacred Valley, to Aguas Caliente and Machu Picchu, and medicine ceremonies.

A Description of your Peru Excursion -
The flight from Vancouver to Lima, Peru will take 16 - 20 hours with one stop. When we land in Lima we will board a local flight to Cusco where we will stay in an Airbnb for several nights. We will experience several tour(s) of the surrounding archeological Inca Sites with a possible Zipline adventure. One day will be reserved for our Huachuma ceremony.
** NB. The altitude of Cusco is almost 12,000 feet so, you will need to take altitude pills while staying here. The nights get cold in the Andes mountains so dress accordingly. It is quite common for locals to chew coca leaves throughout the day to help keep their energy levels up. Coca leaves are cheap or free in Peru. I see no reason why we should not join them 🙂Â
Having completed our stay in Cusco we will board the Vistadome Train to Aguas Calientes Village, with a full 360 degree panoramic view. Aguas Calientes is situated at the foot of Machu Picchu. Here we will stay in a hotel for a couple of nights and enjoy the many restaurants and live entertainment. We will tour Machu Picchu and experience the Hot Spring Bath. Upon completion of this tour we will take the Vistadome Train back to Cusco and continue to the Airport to board a local flight to Iquitos.Â
In Iquitos we will travel by road and river to the Jungle Lodge where we will experience several Jungle Tours. In the evenings we will partake in Ayahuasca ceremonies which will be hosted by a shaman/Healer. When our Jungle tour is complete we will travel back to Iquitos to stay in an Airbnb. Here we will tour Iquitos and Belen Market/Floating City. Upon completion of our tour(s) of Iquitos we will travel to the airport a board a local flight to Lima.
** NB. Please be mindful of your purchases while in Peru. We may stop over in Mexico where your bags will likely be checked by the authorities. You may have to explain what that powder, liquid, and/or dried plant material are.
In Lima we will stay in an Airbnb for 2 nights and experience several local tours. Finally, we will travel to the airport and board an international flight to Vancouver. This flight can take up to 20 hours and will have one stop. Â
